Everything stems from this idea. A friendly welcome. Excellent wines. Food that feeds not only our senses but also our souls. We grow grapes, vegetables and fruit on this fabulous estate, to make wine and other artisan products. We hope you’ll love this place as much as we do.

OUR STORY

We first saw the winery in 2009.

Back then, a dilapidated wine house stood on the hillside, there were fewer vines, less wine, and even fewer guests. Over the years, everything has gradually became bigger, more beautiful, and more professional. We renovated the wine house, built a cellar, planted vines, purchased tanks and barrels, built an oven, and planted a small garden. We had more and more events for ourselves, friends, and guests. Year by year, more people brought their families or held their weddings and corporate team-building events here. Many visit us and feel what we feel.

I came to the area as a resident of Budapest, but not as a city guy. As a child, I saw a lot of the ins and outs of gardening and farming with my grandparents. Later, as an adult, I began to feel that I would like to use this knowledge on a larger scale. First came the vineyard, then guests, experiences, wine and family, Tagyon Manor. Since then we have been sailing, hiking, biking, cooking here with friends and guests. I love the area and sharing my passion, I hope I’ll do it well!

Our produce

Tagyon Manor has nearly 4 hectares, not only vineyards. There are walnut, apple, cherry, sour cherry, peach, plum, almond trees and a 600 sqm kitchen garden right in front of the cellar. Nature gives us plenty of fresh delicacies from spring to autumn. By processing the vegetables and fruits, we try to preserve the local flavours so that we can taste the landscape at any time.

In our kitchen garden, we grow seedlings using traditional methods without chemicals, so that thanks to our care, the garden rewards us every day from spring to autumn with real, tasty vegetables for us and our guests.

Handicraft products

Our handicraft products are made from a selection of vegetables and fruits that are currently in season, using only traditional methods, thus avoiding the use of preservatives, chemicals or processes that spoil the tastes. Our products complement each other in their fresh flavours.

A Bor készítése

A bor minőségének a betakarított szőlőtermés az alapja. A bortermelő feladata, hogy a szőlőszemekben megtalálható értékes anyagok a mustba, borba kerüljenek, abban is megtalálhatók legyenek.
